The Vendor Business Manager – Dell plays a critical role as a trusted advisor to both Dell and the Ingram Micro partner ecosystem. This role is responsible for driving growth across Dell’s portfolio by enabling partners to increase market share with their customers, ultimately growing wallet share with Ingram Micro while strengthening Dell’s presence across the channel. 

 

Role responsibilities 

  • Developing and executing a business plan aligned with Dell’s strategic objectives and Ingram Micro’s overall direction 

  • Coordinating and executing marketing initiatives driven by strong market intelligence and analysing return on investment 

  • Developing and managing partner growth initiatives and enablement programs 

  • Driving the Dell brand and ecosystem journey through product ranging, incentives, partner programs, and training while leveraging Ingram Micro’s service and support capabilities 

  • Staying up to date with Dell Technologies, solutions, and market trends to drive competitive outcomes 

  • Acting as a Dell product evangelist and key conduit between Dell, Ingram Micro sales teams, and channel partners 

  • Tracking pipeline, sell-out performance, and go-to-market activities 

  • Identifying opportunities with complementary vendors and adjacent markets to enhance overall channel offerings and uncover new growth areas 

  • Setting, implementing, and regularly reviewing pricing strategies, promotions, and rebate programs 

 

What you’ll bring: 

  • A positive, creative, and results-driven mindset with a competitive edge 

  • 4–6 years of experience in channel sales, vendor management, or business development across multiple verticals 

  • Strong professionalism with an entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving 

  • Strategic thinking combined with strong attention to detail 

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively, demonstrate leadership, and contribute to high-performing teams 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 

  • At least one year of field sales or market/business development experience 

  • Strong product and solutions knowledge 

  • Established reseller and channel partner relationships
