SENIOR DIRECTOR / SENIOR MANAGER, FACILITIES

This role is responsible for managing the assigned sites within the account owned and/or occupied portfolio in accordance with the requirements of all local, state and federal requirements. The position will be responsible for all lines of business and third-party relationships with the assigned buildings. The position will have direct and indirect reporting responsibilities leading Facility Management professionals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Effectively manage a team of facilities management professionals and vendor partners in a fast-paced, demanding work environment.
  • Partner with the Client to develop an integrated facilities management plan.
  • Develop relationships with client stakeholders.
  • Works with Sourcing Manager to competitively bid and prepare all service contracts to assure high quality and cost-effective services.
  • Delivers Vendor management performance reviews and improvement plans.
  • Develop and implement innovative programs, processes and procedures that reduce short- and long-term operating costs and increase productivity by working closely with the Account Director and the client. 
  • Implementation of short and long-term deliverables for client programs / projects.
  • Oversee the development and management of the operating budgets for entire account and each property.
  • Develop monthly/quarterly reforecasts and variance reporting on all operating budgets.
  • Assist with the development and execution of the long-term sustainment plans for property portfolio.
  • Performs site visits as needed.
  • Assists in the development, revision and implementation of account tools & operating procedures. 

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to meet and exceed each essential duty and those not specified here.  The requirements listed below are indicative of knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to fulfill this role.

A successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Illustrate leadership skills and interpersonal skills with his/her associates.
  • Possess outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Applicable financial and accounting knowledge of commercial property management.
  • Ability to strategically analyze and implement.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • College Degree or commensurate experience. 
  • Minimum of 8+ years industry experience required either in the corporate environment, third party service provider or as a consultant.
