The Global Patriot Sub Strategic Business Unit within the Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) Strategic Business Unit of Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Finance professional to assume the role of Sr. Financial Analyst for Domestic Patriot Production programs. The Sr. Financial Analyst position (P2) will provide a tremendous growth opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to work dynamic Department of Defense programs.

The selected candidate will work closely with the Production Program Teams and functional support teams on making financial, contractual, execution, and resource decisions. The selected candidate will be responsible for financial excellence across all program finance and business-related activities including cost and schedule execution and reporting, monthly EV execution & reporting, Latest Revised Estimates (LREs), Estimates at Complete (EACs), financial planning and analysis, proposal support, cash management, contract startup, execution, and closeout. 

The selected candidate must excel at multi-tasking, effective and influential communication, innovative problem solving, and must have a firm understanding of financial principles common to the aerospace and defense industry.

This role is being offered in an onsite capacity and is based on the needs of the business. Onsite work will be expected at the Tewksbury, MA location. Relocation assistance is not being provided.

What You Will Do

  • Be a trusted business partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive excellence in financial strategy and execution across a dynamic portfolio of programs and captures

  • Analyze key financial data and metrics that will aid business decision making; this includes cost and schedule metrics, estimates at complete, long range and annual operational planning, new business and capital investment analysis, and manpower planning

  • Drive alignment of information between proposals, earned value management, estimates at complete, resource and investment management, and financial plans and forecasts

  • Provide creative and executable solutions to complex business challenges

  • Compile, validate and deliver recurring & non-recurring EV deliverables

  • Develop, utilize and disseminate process improvement and tool improvement opportunities to enhance analytical opportunities for the entire finance team

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field & a minimum of 2 years' experience in finance or business related role

  • Experience with data analysis and/or cost & schedule reporting

  • Experience using SAP APEX software, MS Analysis for Office, PMX, EDIT+ or similar systems

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with Estimates At Completion (EAC's), Earned Value (EV) reporting (CPR, IPMR, IPMDAR etc.) or similar processes

  • Ability to multi-task and work on several different program issues concurrently

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management both verbally and in written form

  • Demonstrate ability to interact, influence, and or lead unique teams

  • Able to meet critical deadlines and develop and apply solutions and process improvement

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
