Make a difference as a Sustainability Officer
As a Sustainability Officer, you will be at the heart of our mission to promote responsible farming practices and drive sustainable transformation across the tapioca supply chain. You’ll work directly with farmers, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver impactful training, implement sustainability assessments, and support regenerative agriculture initiatives that align with Ingredion’s sourcing standards.
What you will do:
Deliver engaging sustainability training sessions to progressive farmers using visual aids and mobile app features
Execute key initiatives including GHG reduction, regenerative agriculture, and agrochemical management
Implement farm self-assessments via the SAI platform and analyze results to guide development planning
Facilitate alignment across internal and external stakeholders, resolve conflicts, and support decision-making
Monitor and control sustainability program execution to ensure compliance with Ingredion’s sourcing standards
What you will bring:
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science, Agronomy, Horticulture, Soil Science, Agricultural Development, or Environmental fields
1–2 years of experience in agricultural training or research
Ability to design and deliver training sessions to farmers and local staff
Moderate English proficiency (written and spoken)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Familiarity with the SAI Platform or equivalent sustainability tools
