Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and implement proactive promotional activities for the assigned target audience to create market demand and need for specific features or products. Each day, you will identify and develop sales opportunities by introducing, presenting, and educating the target audience about ABB products and tools. You will also showcase your expertise by building long-term customer relationships.

The work model for the role is: hybrid

This role is contributing to the Electrification Business Area in Chile. Main stakeholders are {Product Marketing Specialist and Sales Team}.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Implementing proactive promotional activities, including technical presentations, trainings, demonstrations, seminars, educational material, and technical development of projects and solutions for the customer target group.
  • Creating plans for target audience visits and conducting regular status reviews, including analyzing and deriving the insights and output of the visits.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective long-term relationships with target group customers to understand their needs and to ensure they are well-informed of the ABB product, systems, services offering, features, and benefits.
  • Ensuring efficient marketing activities and strong value proposition to customers by using effective promotional techniques.

Qualifications for the role
  • You are immersed in highly skilled low and medium voltage portfolio and you enjoy working with customers, consultants, engineering firms, EPCs, panel builders channel and the Mining, Non-Mining Industries, Infrastructure, and Datacenter segments
  • Ability to demonstrate your experience in low voltage switchgear, switchboards, protection devices, distribution boards, electrical panels, power distribution systems, energy monitoring solutions, medium voltage switchgears is required. Have established technical and commercial skills. You have at least 3 .years of experience in Technical promotion, application engineering, electrical project support, or technical sales support for low and medium voltage solutions, Pre-sales, product marketing
  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of in Engineering tools, engineering documentation, technical specifications, single line diagrams, protection coordination concepts, developing presentations, content material, energy management systems, Salesforce, Microsoft Office Tools, etc.
  • You are passionate about Customer interaction and developig long term relationships with them, consultative technical/commercial communication, and valued-based solution promotion and Collaboration, market development, and traslating technical needs into business opportunities
  • Degree in Electrical engineering, Electronic engineering, or similar technical discipline.
  • You are at ease communicating in Spanish and English - is a must
  • You hold current Professional credentials and Class B driver's license valid in Chile and Legal authorization to work in Chile
