The opportunity

Due to our continuous growth, we are hiring a Technical Solution Owner for HVDC Control & Protection Software. This is a hybrid working role, based in our Ludvika, Sweden offices, combined with working from your home-office.

You will be part of the Global Engineering organization for our High Voltage Direct Current product group. The HVDC technology has been on the market for over 60 years and is an enabler for renewable energy integration, supporting energy transition for a sustainable future. How you’ll make an impact

• Own the technical domain “Systems” within HVDC Control & Protection Software.
• Define system architecture, requirements, and functionality to ensure usability, performance, and compliance.
• Interface with software platforms, hardware components, sub-systems, firmware, IT/OT layers, and third-party devices.
• Coordinate technical solutions and base design across domains, aligning with engineering units and stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement and support tender and project execution.
• Lead and mentor engineers within the Systems domain.

Your background

• Solid experience in HVDC control and protection software, systems or similar domains.
• Strong understanding of system-level design, architecture, integration, and testing principles.
• Extensive collaboration skills, ability to lead technically and mentor others.
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or similar field.
