Job Summary
The Cost Reduction Program Manager is responsible for driving overall strategy and end-to-end execution of cost reduction activities for LaserJet Programs. The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional organizations as well as with InkJet and Personal Systems counterparts. This role will be
critical to drive key initiatives to achieve aggressive cost targets to meet LaserJet financials metrics.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Driving innovative, cross functional strategies for reducing costs in shipping products and NPI’s
  • Identification of joint opportunities with InkJet and Personal Systems, working with counterparts in those organizations to align leadership teams and execute plans.
  • Acting as overall R&D lead for OPS Product Development cost reduction team
  • Management of LaserJet MIB process, including management of key interlinks with Canon Alliance team and HP Operations teams.
  • Execution lead for Canon based product R&D cost reduction activities
  • PMT Leadership of special post-launch programs to reduce cost in first 12-18 months following specific launches


Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in engineering development and implementation, project planning tools and software packages, people management, or a related field.
