Based in Singapore, reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Engineer, QA role will be responsible for the quality assurance aspects of one or multiple technical areas within the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in all phases of our shift-left testing process and the entire STLC of projects

• Work with Product Managers to ensure the product requirements are clearly defined, testable, and compatible with existing sets of behaviors

• Design, execute, and automate tests for our web applications and backend APIs

• Produce test reports and act as the person signing off on feature releases

• Collaborate with Development team the identify and resolve issues

• Contribute to the process of selecting and adopting testing automation framework

• Mentor junior QA engineers within the team

Requirements:

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a related field

• Strong communication skills and are able to explain technical and non-technical concepts to less experienced members of the team, as well as the peers and managers

• 2 to 5 years of working experience in web application testing and automation

• Excellent fundamental knowledge of Software Engineering concepts and STLC life cycle

• Ability to write test plans and test strategy documents

• Good knowledge of API & Web testing is a plus

• Good knowledge of Networking and Operating system concepts

• Have strong troubleshooting and debugging skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to understand functional/technical specifications and analyze data

• Familiarity with HTTP web server basics

Preferred Qualification:

• Exposure with testing automation tools

• Experiences in working in product companies
