Job Description​

Saint Luke’s is seeking a Full-Time Rehab Tech (Day Shift) at Saint Luke's South Hospital (12300 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, KS)

Position Details:

  • Shift Day Hours: Mon-Fri (8am-4:30pm)
  • Weekend and Holiday commitments (required)
  • Utilizing & setting up advanced technology/robotic devices
  • Transferring patients, assisting with mobility, feeding & personal hygiene
  • Assisting therapists in treatment sessions (assisting Occupational therapist with bathing & dressing sessions)
  •  Maintaining equipment, inventory, stocking supplies, and clerical duties.
    Direct Patient Care experience (plus)
  • Previous experience assisting patients with movement (plus)
  • Willing to train candidates interested in medical field

Assists in preparing patient for treatment by Physical and Occupational Therapists/Assistants and Speech Pathologists. Performs routine tasks and assists therapists during patient treatment activities. Tasks include but are not limited to the following: assisting with transferring patients, managing and tracking equipment, environmental cleaning, taking inventory, stocking supplies, assisting with feeding group, and transporting patients to and from Rehab Department. Annual competency maintained and documented.

Schedule:

Monday thru Friday 8:00 to 4:30

Weekend day and Holiday shifts required.
