Job Description Summary

The Industrial Field Service Coordinator will organize, and coordinate Field Service activities associated with the execution of projects throughout the industrial segment of Steam Power. This role will coordinate and update outage related data as needed based on information from Field Service Team, Operation Team, HR, and Finance.

The Field Service coordinator will also facilitate colaberation with our affiliate suppliers to ensure they are prepared and able to support planned and forecasted outage support. The FSC will act as a liaison as well as a point of escalation to facilitate issue resolution between services and the affiliates.

The Field Service coordinator will enable the successful hiring, onboarding and technical development of new hire TFA’s.

The Field Service Coordinator is reporting to the Industrial Field Services Leader.

Job Description

Essential Functions

 

·       Lead coordination of S&OE activities for Field Services to align Demand with Supply planning

·       Support the tracking and reporting of KPIs for Field Services operating rhythms

·       Facilitate outage forecasting and preparation calls with Customer Service Manager and Resource Managers. Assisting with system updates as needed.

·       Assist the field service team for finding resolution to T&L, timecard, and other administrative issues.

·       Facilitate Affiliate management Daily management.

·       Coordinate and work with affiliates and 3rd party’s to ensure systems are working properly and access to those systems are up-to-date

·       Lead and manage new hires from training to qualified

·       Limited Travel may be required

·       Liaising with other segment and global Field Service Coordinators.

·       Perform other duties as assigned.

 

 

Basic Qualifications

·       Two years relevant work experience in field operations, customer service or office administration role desired.

·       Good customer service and interpersonal skills

·       Good communication, time management and organizational skills

·       Ability to multi-task, coordinate, plan and assume managerial responsibilities as deemed appropriate by the Supervisor

·       Intermediate knowledge level of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)

 

 

Desired Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree preferred.  Related degree considered in lieu of experience

·       Demonstrate leadership ability through decision-making abilities, troubleshooting, problem-solving and teamwork

·       Expiriance leading and influencing a team.

·       Knowledge of GE systems and processes such as Tableau, ServiceMax, ServiceNow, etc.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $91,400.00 and $152,200.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

 

 

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
