Senior Finance Analyst

Description -

We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to support Market Finance team. The role is responsible for driving financial management by analyzing, reporting, and reconciling financial and operational results. The role drives process improvements, provides expert counsel, represents the business unit/organization contributing to operational and strategic success. This is a unique opportunity to accelerate your career, working on cross-functional initiatives, applying an entrepreneurial mindset and expanding your network across Market Finance, Supply Chain and Tax organizations.

What a Senior Finance Analyst does at HP: 

  • Performs highly complex financial analysis including P&L performance reporting, reconciliations, margin analysis for a finance and tax functions, utilizing a unique understanding of the business to achieve objectives effectively.
  • Provide accurate and complete data, reconciliations with insightful analysis and simulations to assist Business Finance function in decision making.
  • Provide accurate and complete data, reconciliations to assist Tax function in decision making and to support information requests from regulatory authorities.
  • Forecasts financial results within a broad scope and identifies opportunities for process improvement and policy development, actively engaging in their design and implementation.
  • Collaborates with business leaders to guide and influence long-term and strategic decision-making.

    Represents the business unit during cross-regional or cross-functional planning processes.
  • Applies advanced subject matter knowledge, leads, and contributes to complex projects, and exercises independent judgment in resolving business issues and establishing policies.
     
  • Develops and builds productive internal/external working relationships and provides mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.
  • Support business initiatives in compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
     

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or a related field.
