Overview of Position

The Marketing Manager will serve a key role on the Distribution Marketing & Business Development Initiatives team, supporting multiple marketing programs, including all the retention programs for the business. These programs are critical to retaining and nurturing relationships with our distribution partners. This comprehensive effort includes but not limited to monthly and annual programs, and one-off firm campaigns. This role will manage our vendor relationships for direct mail campaigns, providing end-to-end campaign management, including concept development, product approval, campaign implementation, internal communication and training with sales, and customer service as needed. The Marketing Manager will lead our Salesforce Distributed Marketing program, serving as administrator and librarian, subject matter expert, trainer, and consultant to sales team, while proactively managing an active user base of approximately two hundred. The Marketing Manager will also lead efforts to support the strategic sponsorships for annual conferences for our premier client accounts throughout the year with key customized marketing messages and support. This may include developing new creative and / or paid advertising with our internal creative team or our Agency of Record, developing a media plan, and /or developing Seismic Digital Sales Rooms to promote the event and drive attendance to our breakout sessions. This role will lead the marketing effort for Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) Channel Expansion, including managing the RIA microsite to stay current and updated with new material, developing and implementing paid social media campaigns, serving as marketing contact for Strategic Accounts, supporting sponsorships for the RIA Channel with customized and targeted marketing (social, emails, other), and representing marketing at client partner meetings, as needed. The role will also support sales enablement programs across all distribution channels, that may include creating sales presentations (PPT), emails, marketing material development and other communications. This may include tactical sales support such as troubleshooting issues with Salesforce profile signatures, and providing backup support for territory introduction communications and territory maps. The Marketing Manager plays an instrumental role in helping Corebridge Financial develop and execute strategic marketing plans to meet annual sales, business and marketing goals.

Please Note: Preferred location is listed, but role can be open as fully remote for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Write and develop content across a variety of programs, projects & communications
  • Lead all primary retention programs for the business:
  • Manage our vendor relationships for direct mail campaigns, providing end-to-end campaign management, including concept development, product approval, campaign implementation, internal communication and training with sales, and customer service as needed.
  • Serve as Marketing Lead for our Salesforce Distributed Marketing program, including user licenses, user training, library maintenance and compliance, as well as new content development 
  • Lead marketing effort for RIA Channel Expansion, including managing the RIA microsite, developing and implementing paid social media campaigns, serving as marketing contact for Strategic Accounts, supporting strategic client event sponsorships with customized and targeted marketing, and representing marketing at client partner meetings
  • Collaborate and assist with marketing campaigns promoting website functionality: create firm-specific marketing materials and how-to guides, develop and implement targeted email campaigns to promote client adoption of self-service web capabilities to reduce call center call volume
  • Provide direction to creative partners in the development and execution of marketing materials.

What you need to know

  • Bachelor degree required, 3+ years of professional marketing experience
  • Knowledge of Annuity products preferred (RIA market knowledge a bonus)
  • MarTech experience preferred (Salesforce)
  • Highly self-directed and motivated with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills and an ability to work in collaboration with other business units.
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Ability to cope with change and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Highly proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Financial Services experience preferred
  • Creative thinker with strong tactical execution skills
