The Opportunity
We are seeking a Supply Planning Manager at our Lake Forest, IL location to plan, direct, and monitor all supply and logistics activities, ensuring a cost-effective flow of merchandise from suppliers to customers.

What You’ll Work On:

• Manage daily supply and logistics operations to maximize efficiency, reliability, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee materials planning, procurement, inventory management, storage, warehousing, logistics, transport, and distribution.
• Develop and implement schedules and procedures to meet operational targets.
• Allocate resources effectively to achieve goals related to transit times, inventory levels, and service standards.
• Collaborate with functional and operational managers (e.g., customer service, sales, production planning) to integrate supply activities across the business.
• Select and maintain relationships with major suppliers and vendors to minimize costs while ensuring high service standards.
• Lead, evaluate, and develop staff to optimize resource use and meet work schedules and targets.

Education and Experience You’ll Bring:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Management.
• 7+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong leadership and supplier relationship management skills.
• Experience in contract negotiation and management.
• Proficiency in engineering changes and root cause analysis.
• Financial acumen and analysis capabilities.
• Experience in material planning and purchasing.
• Familiarity with quality systems, including CAPAs, SCARs, and QIs.

Preferred:

• Technical degree in a related field.

The base pay for this position is

$95,000.00 – $190,000.00
