About the Opportunity
As a Packaging Coordinator, you play a key role in ensuring that our packaging operations across Europe run smoothly, efficiently, and in full compliance with quality standards. You act as the central point of coordination between internal teams, suppliers, and especially external warehouses and logistics partners (3PLs).
The focus of this role is strongly operational: ensuring that packaging materials, planning, and execution at external sites are aligned and controlled. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders across the supply chain to maintain efficiency, accuracy, and high service levels.
In this position, you are the driving force behind the coordination of packaging activities across external warehouses. By maintaining tight control over inventory, supplier performance, and operational processes, you ensure continuity in the supply chain and contribute directly to cost control, quality, and service reliability.
Responsibilities
Within this role, you are responsible for coordinating and controlling all packaging-related activities across external warehouses and logistics partners. You ensure that planning, execution, and follow-up are aligned, while maintaining strong oversight of inventory, suppliers, and operational performance.
- Coordinate and monitor packaging operations at external warehouses (3PLs)
- Plan and align packaging requirements across multiple locations and partners
- Act as the main point of contact for packaging-related activities with logistics providers
- Manage and reconcile packaging inventory in systems (DAX)
- Follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely and accurate closure
- Support and monitor the invoicing process
- Track and resolve claims with suppliers and service providers
- Monitor supplier performance (delivery reliability, product quality, completeness)
- Manage and control packaging waste (e.g., cardboard) at external providers
- Support compliance activities (e.g., BRC, documentation, certificates)
Candidate Profile
You are a structured and proactive professional with strong coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple external stakeholders effectively.
- MBO-level education or equivalent
- 3–5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a similar field
- Experience in coordinating operations with external partners (3PLs) is a strong plus
- A background or training in Logistics or Supply Chain is a strong advantage
- Familiarity with packaging, food safety, or BRC standards is an advantage
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Comfortable working with systems and data (experience with DAX is a plus)
- Strong communication skills in English; Spanish is a strong plus
