Overview of the job

As a PrIME Platform Engineer on the PrIME Product Team, you will be responsible for designing and qualifying the current and next-generation PrIME platform in support of the PrIME Expansion and Upgrade Masterplan. Your work will advance P&G’s strategic WMS platform PrIME by enabling an open architecture, extensibility, and compatibility within a rapidly evolving IT landscape.

Your team

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including platform architects, IT security, vendors, and business stakeholders, driving platform strategy and ensuring delivery of resilient and scalable warehouse management solutions.

How success looks like

• Development and implementation of new PrIME platform standards aligned with the latest operating system and database trends.
• Identification and execution of innovation and optimization opportunities to build a resilient, state-of-the-art WMS platform.
• Hands-on exploration and pilot of emerging technologies to support platform evolution.
• Achieving full compliance of the PrIME platform with evolving IT security policies.

Responsibilities of the role

• Design and develop next-generation PrIME platform standards leveraging modern OS and database technologies.
• Identify and drive opportunities for platform innovation, optimization, and resilience.
• Lead hands-on proof of concepts (POCs) and evaluations of new technology choices.
• Ensure ongoing platform compliance with IT security and patching standards.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects to place platform components within the broader IT ecosystem and define integration points.
• Manage complex projects involving multiple partners and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of progress and challenges.
• Deliver high-quality documentation to complement hands-on technical work.

Job Qualifications

Hard Skills:

• 3 to 5 years experience working in supply chain systems, specifically with Blue Yonder (JDA) WMS.
• Proven Blue Yonder (JDA) WMS expertise, including implementation experience in complex, highly automated warehouse environments and upgrades on version 2020 or higher.
• Strong technical mastery of platform resiliency, stability, security, server sizing, and support model transformations.
• Hands-on experience or rapid onboarding capability for new technologies, including Microsoft SQL, cloud hosting platforms (ideally MS Azure services such as IaaS, PaaS DB, App Services, Storage, Logic & Function Apps), Oracle DB, and Linux.
• Proficient in Windows (PC & Server) and Linux operating systems.
• Experienced in database management (Oracle, MSSQL, Open Source databases).
• Proficient in one or more programming languages (e.g., MOCA, ABAP, VB, C, PHP, Python).
• Enterprise architecture experience with the ability to define and design integration points in complex IT environments.
• Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to deliver multi-stakeholder projects.
