Position Summary

We are looking for a new Product Manager for eStore to join our team!

Role and Responsibilities

  • Creating and implementing sales strategy for entire Samsung Mobile and Consumer Electronics line-up, based on sales targets, market position, and platform capabilities
  • Analysis, understanding, and response to customer needs, monitoring the market landscape to conduct market research and develop a competitive analysis
  • Coordination and communication about the sales strategy and execution with eStore team and management
  • Translate business strategy into product ranging strategy 
  • Analyze data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends
  • Provide insight to eStore team on product pricing competitiveness in comparison to market trends
  • Devise long-term development strategies for product categories
  • Own the product life cycle of eStore inventory
  • Place appropriate orders to ensure product availability that meets consumer demands
  • Determine the positioning of a product category to maximize visibility
  • Liaise with support teams and product divisions to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities of a product category
  • Make forecasts for product demand to ensure the sustainability of inventory
  • Assume responsibility of budget development and revenue for category
  • Plan and carry out product launches 
  • Manage product profitability and commercial success
  • Align with eStore sales and marketing in order to execute promotion plan that will achieve set targets

Skills and Qualifications

  • University degree
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role as well as experience building effective product marketing strategies, including PSI forecasting, planning and executing sell-out promotions, product launches, stock management, etc.
  • Previously involved in working in this role for e-commerce sales platform
  • Solid knowledge of category management, marketing and sales principles
  • Proficient with Excel and eCommerce website reporting dashboards
  • Proven record of using data to provide compelling business insights
  • Strong ability to translate numbers into impactful, concise messages via reports for a broad audience
  • Highly organized, with the ability to work on multiple projects at once
  • Motivated to stay up to date with market trends and competition performance
