Position Summary
You will join Medical Affairs to provide scientific leadership for a specialty area across India. You will work with cross-functional teams, healthcare professionals, and external experts to shape evidence generation, medical education, and scientific exchange. This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
- Lead scientific engagement with healthcare professionals and key external experts in your specialty to support evidence-based clinical practice.
- Provide medical input into local medical strategy, non-promotional medical education, and evidence generation plans.
- Act as clinical lead or medical monitor for company-sponsored studies and support evaluation of investigator-initiated study proposals.
- Review and approve medical content and ensure materials meet scientific, regulatory and local standards.
- Deliver training and scientific updates to internal colleagues, including field teams and cross-functional partners.
- Monitor and respond to medical information requests and support accurate, timely scientific responses.
Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with clinical stakeholders to understand local practice and unmet needs.
- Translate clinical evidence into clear, actionable medical advice for internal and external audiences.
- Support ethical and compliant execution of medical activities and ensure adherence to local regulations and company standards.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of medical plans, budgets, and project timelines.
- Use insight and data to inform strategy, identify opportunities, and measure impact.
- Work collaboratively across commercial, regulatory, and research partners to deliver on shared objectives.

Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals
- Medical degree (MBBS, MD) or equivalent life sciences qualification with clinical experience.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant pharmaceutical or medical affairs experience in a specialty or related therapeutic area.
- Proven experience engaging with healthcare professionals and presenting scientific information clearly.
- Strong written and spoken English; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of clinical study design, real-world evidence, and medical information processes.
- Able to work on-site with a hybrid working arrangement as defined by the local team; travel across India will be required.
Preferred Qualification
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus
- Postgraduate degree or higher in a clinical specialty, pharmacology, or related discipline.
- Experience as medical monitor or clinical lead on sponsored clinical studies.
- Prior experience in a matrix organisation and working with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with local regulatory and compliance frameworks for medical and promotional activities.
- Training or certification in project management, medical communication, or related skills.
- Demonstrated skill in stakeholder mapping, external engagement planning, and insight generation.
