What You'll Do:
Lead the credentialing and privileging processes for Allied Health Providers (AHPs) and medical staff.
Collaborate with providers, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
Conduct primary source verifications and manage sensitive provider data with precision and confidentiality.
Keep things on track! Monitor and manage expiring credentials to maintain continuous compliance.
Attend and record key meetings, develop agendas, and manage critical records.
What You'll Bring:
Experience: At least 1 year in provider credentialing or 2 years in a medical setting. An Associate’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
Tech-Savvy Skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to type 65+ WPM.
Organizational Excellence: You’re detail-oriented, a self-starter, and can handle sensitive information with professionalism and tact.
Teamwork & Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to thrive in a team environment while also excelling independently.
Certifications: Obtain one of the following within 3 years of hire: Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Professional Medical Staff Management (CPMSM).
