Core One is seeking a Sensitive Activities Planner to support the program. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance. This position is contingent upon contract award. 

Roles & Responsibilities: 

  • Support the development, planning and execution of SOF- peculiar and SOF- exquisite capabilities of all levels of Joint, Military Service, combined and Headquarters wargames, seminars, workshops, and table-top exercises.
  • Conduct analysis and assessments of SOF-peculiar and SOF-exquisite capabilities to provide senior leaders the deep situational understanding they require to make timely and critical decisions for all Joint/Service/HQSOCOM wargames.
  • Provide analysis for strategic planning meetings, briefings, seminars, and strategy war games, and provide required SOF subject matter expertise to events related to the future operating environment and interoperability of SOF.
  • Develop/leverage professional relationships from across the DoD, interagency, and intelligence community to deliver precise and unique regional and country-specific perspectives to USSOCOM’s senior leaders.

Requirements:

  • 5 years’ strategy and sensitive activities experience, preferably SOF related, working at a DoD
    Combatant Command or Joint Staff or a 4-Star Command within the past 10 years.
  • 5 years’ experience conducting strategic /regional studies and assessments for the analysis, and
    synchronization of the command strategy.
  • Strong analytical skills and written and oral communication.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a sensitive activities planner.
  • 5 years’ experience using web-based programs such as, social media platforms, and Microsoft
    Office products (e.g., SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel)
  • Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance
