Join us as our new Scientist

Working to implement new technology, you’ll be responsible for optimizing and automating analytical workflows to maximize efficiency in our Global Quality Control laboratories, spanning enzyme analytical, microbiological, and chemical methods. You’ll work closely with colleagues from around the world to improve performance of existing and new technology platforms (such as HPLC and UPLC, Gallery Plus, Hamilton STAR), and align their usage across our labs. Tasks will range from hands-on technical development and creating smart IT solutions to complex stakeholder management.

In Global LIMS, Automation & Digitalization, we support the Global Quality Control laboratories with smart automation and digital solutions to increase efficiency. In this role you’ll make an impact by:

• Designing the technological solutions to be used in Novonesis’ Quality Control labs globally

• Ensuring aligned and optimal use of equipment across our many labs

• Using your creativity and technical interest to rethink how we automate for a sustainable future

To succeed you must have:

You have a keen interest in lab processes, data, and technology. You can translate operational needs to digital workflows and have experience with instrument integration. You are good at following through, have a global mindset, and possess strong stakeholder management skills with an analytical approach to your work.

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• A background in natural sciences, engineering, data science, or related fields

• Demonstrated expertise and passion for technology and analytical platforms, such as robots and automation processes

• Proficiency in programming and scripting

• Experience working in laboratory settings

• Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication and networking abilities

In addition to the above, experience in the following areas would be advantageous:

• Industries such as food or pharma

• Knowledge of microbiology, and/or chromatography platforms

• Experience with LIMS systems

This job will be located in Bagsværd, Denmark.
