Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Director of Sales to join our team and manage our Direct Sales team. The Director will be responsible for leading our Enterprise and SMB sales team, as well as our BDR team, developing and implementing strategic sales plans, and driving revenue growth alongside our SVP of Revenue. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success both as a sales manager as well as an Individual Contributor in the Enterprise space, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for driving positive change. They will be eager to roll up their sleeves, supporting and even leading sales calls when needed, as well as working closely with the Executive team to drive positive change and growth within the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective goals.
  • Support sales calls on a daily basis, including leading calls and demos when needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
  • Work alongside our SVP of Revenue to develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between sales, marketing, and operations.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
  • Help manage and grow our BDR team.

Qualifications

  • Startup experience required.
  • 7-10 years of professional experience.
  • Proven track record of success managing sales teams, with at least 1-3 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Willingness to work outside their job description and roll up their sleeves.
  • Ability to lead sales calls and demos.
  • Historical track record of performance as an Enterprise AE prior to management.
  • Ability to think strategically and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working with ENT clients is required.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate commitment to integrity, accountability, and delivering high-quality work.
  • Strong leadership, presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and conferences.
