The IT GRC Lead is responsible for designing and implementing governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) programs, ensuring adherence to regulatory and industry standards. This role involves leading stakeholder engagement, identifying needs and concerns, and fostering understanding and commitment across the organization. The IT GRC Lead will provide leadership, communicate action plans, and align business goals with the broader organizational strategy.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Assist to design and implement a compliance program, liaising with stakeholders to ensure the program adheres to regulatory and industry compliance standards.
Identify shortcomings in compliance processes, systems, and procedures, and suggest and implement appropriate improvements. Work is focused on multiple areas and disciplines.
Lead development, implementation, and ongoing management of governance and control frameworks to ensure they align with business goals and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with senior IT and business leaders to align IT initiatives with enterprise strategy and priorities.
Monitor and report on IT performance, compliance, and risk metrics using KPIs and dashboards.
Assist to drive the IT governance agenda including data governance, policy management, portfolio governance, and change management.
Support audits and regulatory assessments by maintaining clear documentation of governance practices
Facilitate communication by preparing materials for governance committees and ensure follow-through on actions.
Serve as a liaison between IT and business units for governance-related initiatives and issue resolution.
Promote awareness and training on governance, risk, and compliance practices across the organization.
Evaluate and implement tools that support governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) functions.

Plans, identifies, monitors, analyzes, and prioritizes risks, threats and opportunities, creates response plans, and manages the risk if it occurs.
Reviews and evaluates recommendations and requirements to develop appropriate plans or deliver actions required.

Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level
Experience: Substantial work experience with comprehensive job-related experience to a fully competent level in applicable area of expertise. (6 to 10 years)
Managerial Experience: Experience supervising and directing team members and utilizing resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes (1 to 3 years)
