Wells Fargo is hiring a Senior Lead Business Accountability Specialist to support the Cyber Platform Management organization. This high‑visibility role sits close to leadership and plays a critical part in driving operational excellence, risk oversight, strategic execution, and culture‑focused initiatives across a fast‑moving cyber organization.

You’ll report to a senior leader within Cyber Platform Management and serve as a trusted advisor, strategic operator, and connector across teams — bringing clarity, structure, and influence to complex, enterprise‑level work.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence plans, specifications, resource needs, and goals for multi-faceted, highly complex, or long-term risk mitigation and control strategies on behalf of the business

Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are large-scale, multi-faceted, long-term, or companywide strategies

Engage with all levels of professionals and managers companywide and serve as an expert advisor to leadership

As required, develop project plans and deliver on strategic or organizational‑related activities to support Cyber Platform leadership

Provide direction and plans to fully manage operational risk across all the coverage scope areas

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, excels at navigating matrixed environments, and brings both executional rigor and strategic thinking to cyber risk and operational governance.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, operational support, compliance, or process experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience

Knowledge and understanding of compiling and preparing executive summaries and presentations for management/senior leaders

Strong organizational, multi-tasking, prioritizing, and analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

Experience leading large-scale change or complex initiatives

Advanced Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint) skills

Desired Qualifications

Experience partnering across groups to implement requirements and achieve desired outcomes

Experience with issue management, risk assessments and risk management reporting

Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with key partners and stakeholders

Ability to meet stringent deadlines, interact with all levels of an organization, and manage initiatives involving process improvements

Ownership mentality with an ability to design and drive successful execution of priorities

Solid creative and strategic thinking skills

Experience and fluency in Financial Services and Technology

Understanding of Product-led approach, Agile methodology and routines, Strategic Planning, and financial product areas

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$159,000.00 - $279,000.00
