JR69695 Sr. Manager, HVM DE/CVD/PVD

As a Sr. Manager at Micron, you are responsible for continuously improving defense lines to ensure wafer quality surpasses critical metrics and achieves outstanding performance. Your scope includes:

  • Yield enhancement from new technology start-up
  • Quality improvement through wafer performance matching
  • Process capability control (SPC/FDC) and advanced detective solutions
  • Output increase through collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering (ME) and Manufacturing
  • Cost savings by motivating team members to identify opportunities
  • Talent development

You will collaborate with OMT and Micron Networks to achieve KPIs and ensure customer satisfaction. Additionally, you are expected to develop strategic roadmaps for Quality, Yield, Output, Cost, and Talent systems, guiding your team to accomplish these goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality/Yield/Output/Cost System Management:
    • Plan and execute systems to ensure Fab process capability (SPC/FDC/R2R) under comprehensive defense line protection.
    • Develop advanced detecting systems with AI-IoT for real-time detection, diagnosis, and reporting.
  • Fab Conversions and Process Control:
    • Supervise and execute Fab conversions under defined business procedures.
    • Implement review systems to control Fab inline deviations with corrective and preventive actions.
    • Drive root cause analysis with total solutions.
  • New Product Introduction and Tech Node Transfer:
    • Protect new product introductions and tech node transfers.
    • Review Fab process capability to ensure manufacturing ramping under optimal quality control.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Drive continuous improvement programs and facilitate team innovation.
    • Collaborate with Micron networks for system improvements, including automation, error-proofing, and engineering simplification.
  • Detection, Diagnosis, and Prescription Systems:
    • Develop systems to streamline workflows, provide advanced auto-analysis, and speed up yield improvement and problem-solving.

Collaboration:

  • In Fab:
    • Work with Fab Manufacturing, Equipment, Facility groups, and Process Integration, Yield, Defect, and Quality groups to achieve the best quality, mature yield, maximum output, and low cost.
  • In Micron Network:
    • Collaborate with global functions and interact with procurement and materials suppliers to drive the roadmap supporting Fab KPIs with excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Development:
    • Lead the development and optimization of dry etch processes.
    • Ensure processes meet quality, yield, and performance standards.
    • Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate new technologies.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technicians.
    • Set performance goals, provide feedback, and support professional development.
    • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Project Management:
    • Oversee multiple projects from conception to completion.
    • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet technical specifications.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Equipment CIP Management:
    • Coordinate the continuous improvement parts (CIP) of dry etch equipment.
    • Develop recipes to achieve best-in-class yield, defect, and equipment performance.
    • Evaluate and recommend new equipment and technologies.
