Job Responsibilities:

PERFORMANCE MEASURES:

  • Accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Process efficiency, reduction of manual work through automation of process improvements.
  • Compliance, adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Timely delivery of month-end close activities, reconciliations and tax filing completed by deadlines.
  • Audit readiness, quality and completeness of documentation during internal ex-ternal audits.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public accounting or related field.
  • Experience in accounting, taxation and financial activities - 5 years.
  • MBA preferred, but not required.
  • Coordination & communication with other departments to ensure timely execution of activities (HR, Finance, Canada Finance, etc.), ensuring an adequate customer service attitude.
  • Fluency in English, spoken and written are required
