We are looking for a Technical Sales professional with expertise in Electronics to join our team!

Our Team

This role will collaborate cross-functionally with the sales team, focusing on Electronics and working closely with the rest of the team, leveraging business accumen to drive informed, business-oriented decision-making.

Our Sales and Marketing team works closely with Engineering, Service, and Operations to deliver customer‑focused, value‑driven solutions. Collaboration, technical depth, and long‑term customer relationships are central to how we succeed.

We work directly with customers to understand complex technical requirements and translate them into solutions that support their operational and business goals. Our team plays a critical role across the full product lifecycle—from opportunity development and proposal, through delivery and ongoing customer support.

In this role, You will:

  • Act as a trusted technical sales advisor through the sales cycle
  • Work closely with customers to define product specifications, ensuring solutions are aligned with application and business needs
  • Prepare quotations and technical proposals, negotiating technical performance, pricing, and delivery requirements
  • Implement systematic quotation follow‑up and contribute to bookings forecasts
  • Participate in opportunity development and quote review processes
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Operations as a liaison between customers and internal teams
  • Support new business development initiatives, including customer visits, trade shows, conferences, and market intelligence gathering
  • Assist with new product development and launch activities, including contributing to sales and presentation materials
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, sales representatives, and internal stakeholders
  • Act as a Brand Ambassador, representing the company’s values, products, and capabilities in all customer interactions, industry events, and external engagements
  • Apply an 80/20 approach to prioritize activities and accounts, focusing efforts on high‑value opportunities that drive the greatest business impact
  • Travel occasionally to customer facilities, trade shows, and conferences as required

What You Bring: 

  • Demonstrated technical sales/account management experience, exceeding sales goals and customer expectations
  • Minimum 5 years of combined technical education and experience in a technical or engineering related role
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and influencing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience working with supply chain and technical customer contacts
  • Ability to read and interpret system drawings and schematics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience working with custom designed electronics, fiber optic, and electrical hardware considered an asset
  • Experience supporting customers in manufacturing or industrial environments considered an asset
  • 80/20 mindset/experience considered an asset
