The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Global Product Marketing Manager you will be responsible for developing and executing global product marketing strategies that drive growth, market share, and customer engagement in the Electronics Vertical. This role will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns to drive product launches, enhance brand visibility, and support sales efforts across various channels in the Electronics Vertical.

As a(n) Global Product Marketing Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Develop and implement global product marketing strategies and plans that align with business objectives
  • Manage employees and provide guidance and support
  • Collaborate with portfolio management, sales, and regional marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies and launch plans for new products
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, email, and events
  • Generate and manage global toolkits for demand generation including brochures, presentations, videos, case studies, tech data sheets, posters, digital content and influence demo kits
  • Ensure asset management and ADA compliance processes are followed
  • Provide marketing support and ensure all activities comply with legal, regulatory, and internal policies
  • Monitor and analyze product performance metrics to optimize marketing efforts and drive continuous improvement
  • Manage relationships with external partners, including agencies, vendors, and industry influencers
  • Support sales teams with tools, and resources to effectively promote and sell products.
  • Oversee product naming, content creation, and claims development
  • Develop product content for market verticals and maintain/optimize existing product content and sales tools
  • Support account-based marketing initiatives
  • Manage Product Data Pages (PDP) and Product Content Pages (PCP)
  • Manage marketing budgets effectively
  • Oversee content strategy, including Customer Journey Mapping
  • Manage external agency and internal GMC relationships and projects

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or business (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Five (5) years of experience in product marketing, preferably in a global role in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Strong understanding of global market dynamics, customer segments, and competitive landscape
  • Proficient project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to marketing.
  • Experience in content strategy and asset development
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and design

Work location:  Hybrid local to Maplewood, MN up to 3 days a week

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic

This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
