The Human Resources Manager, Shared Services is responsible for leading and optimizing HR Shared Services operations to deliver consistent, efficient, and high-quality HR support across the organization. This role oversees transactional HR functions, employee support, compliance administration, and HR operations while partnering closely with HR Business Partners.

Key Responsibilities

HR Shared Services Leadership

  • Lead and manage the HR Shared Services team, including workload prioritization, performance management, and development

  • Ensure timely, accurate, and consistent delivery of HR services across employee lifecycle processes

  • Establish and monitor service-level agreements (SLAs), workflows, and case management standards

Employee Support & HR Operations

  • Oversee employee and manager inquiry resolution through ticketing or case management systems

  • Ensure accurate processing of employee transactions (new hires, job changes, transfers, terminations) in partnership with Payroll and Benefits

  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding administration

  • Ensure data integrity and governance within HRIS systems

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure HR Shared Services processes comply with federal, state, and local employment laws

  • Oversee personnel file management, I-9 compliance, and document retention

  • Support internal and external audits and compliance reviews

  • Partner with HRBPs and Legal on escalated or complex compliance matters

Benefits, Leave & Programs

  • Support benefits administration

  • Support effective administration of leave of absence programs

  • Support annual programs such as open enrollment, merit cycles, and policy rollouts

Process Improvement & Reporting

  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes through automation and standardization

  • Develop and maintain SOPs, knowledge articles, and training materials

  • Track and report HR operational metrics and trends to HR leadership
