About the Opportunity:

St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba is the largest acute private hospital on the Darling Downs. We are a 189-bed facility with highly experienced and skilled staff that work as a team to deliver the highest standard of healthcare to all our patients. Things that work for us:

  • Essential qualifications: Relevant TAFE Certificate ie Certificate III health/aged care and/or have successfully completed second year bachelor of nursing studies clinical placement 

  • Previous experience in an Emergency Department or Hospital setting

  • Ability to provide clinical practice and care that is consistent with the mission and philosophy of the Facility. 

  • Ability to assist in the performance of nursing duties in an efficient and prompt manner as delegated by a Registered Nurse or an Enrolled Nurse. 

  • Have a demonstrated application of contemporary infection control standards and practices

  • Proven ability to work a 7-day rotating roster, weekends and nights included.
