Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Company is looking for Maintenance Mechanics in St. Louis, MO.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a solid fundamental understanding of various Mechanical competencies to include: Mechanic Machine Repair, Maintenance Mechanic All-Around, and Maintenance

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining production equipment. Perform daily inspections and complete associated paperwork. Maintain maintenance periodic inspection plan and perform to plan.
  • Assist in maintaining building and infrastructure equipment. Perform daily inspections and complete associated paperwork. Maintain maintenance periodic inspection plan and perform to plan
  • Assist in maintaining inventory control of support equipment. Maintain support equipment facility.
  • Assist in planning and performing unusual and difficult work where standard or recognized inspection methods may not be available.
  • Assist in performing a sequence of operations where standard methods may not be available. Care and judgment to fit and adjust parts and assemblies to requirements and specifications.
  • Assist in performing a sequence of operations where standard methods may or may not be available. Considerable judgment necessary to perform complicated operations.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S Secret clearance Post Start is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' experience in Production Equipment  Maintenance
  • 3+ years' experience working independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' experience in Inventory Management
  • Digital work authorization programs

Additional Information:

  • The selected candidate must be able to work any shift, as assigned.
  • This is an hourly position governed by the IAM Collective Bargaining agreement.
  • New Hires, as well as employees who transfer from non-union positions, may be required to attend some type of training upon their start. All new employees, rehires without seniority or transfers from outside of IAM 837 jurisdiction, shall be regarded as probationary during their first one hundred twenty (120) calendar days of employment.  Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of the probationary period.

Training & Experience:

Education is acquired through high school or trade/vocational training.

Relocation:

This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation.  Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Referral Bonus:

Referral to this job is eligible for bonus.

Bonus amount: US dollars (USD) $1,500
