Cheese World is seeking an experienced and commercially minded hospitality leader to manage one of the region’s most recognized food and tourism destinations. This role offers end‑to‑end responsibility across café, retail, tastings, events and e‑commerce, with a strong focus on people leadership, customer experience and commercial performance.

As the Café & Retail Manager, accountability spans the overall success of the venue, from leading and developing teams to delivering exceptional customer experiences and achieving strong financial outcomes. This is a hands‑on leadership role in a dynamic, customer‑focused environment.

• Lead and develop the staff building a positive, high‑performing and safe team culture
• Own the end‑to‑end customer experience across café service, retail, tastings, events and online channels
• Manage budgets, labour, stock, margins and KPIs to deliver strong commercial outcomes
• Work collaboratively with marketing, finance, suppliers and tourism partners to drive revenue growth
• Ensure facilities, food safety, OH&S and compliance standards are consistently met

About You

• Experience in café, retail or hospitality environments
• Previous experience in a leadership or people‑supervision role
• Experience managing labour planning, stock levels and operating costs
• A customer‑focused mindset with a desire to continuously improve experiences
• Confidence using POS systems, with an understanding of food safety and workplace safety
