The Operations Manager will be responsible for developing and managing talented individuals to foster a high-performing team. <title>Main tasks and responsibilities:</title>

• <point>Supporting the General Manager in developing and executing on the long-term strategy of Hopp’s ride-hailing business in Canada, including P&L ownership.</point>
• <point>Oversee programs and projects focused on business growth and process enhancements, aiming to deliver outstanding service to users and drivers.</point>
• <point>Formulate and execute strategies to improve the value proposition for drivers and riders, increase the supply base, and enhance performance and retention.</point>
• <point>Engage in Business Development to identify new revenue opportunities, forge partnerships, and negotiate and structure contracts, including collaborations with driver and vehicle fleets.</point>
• <point>Lead and develop a small team to ensure the successful implementation of all projects, programs, and activities.</point>
• <point>Advise and closely collaborate with HQ teams such as Product, Legal, Marketing or Finance to develop and execute key initiatives that drive growth and efficiency.</point>

<title>About You:</title>

• <point>You have 6+ years of experience in an Operations Management role with a strong analytical component.</point>

• <point>You possess a data-driven analytical mindset and skills, with advanced knowledge in Excel as a requirement.</point>
• <point>You demonstrate a highly data-driven, analytical mindset, and you can examine data to optimise your team's activities and identify patterns and trends within the data.</point>
• <point>You have experience leading a team and a passion for developing people.</point>
• <point>You ideally have experience managing new product launches or market entry processes.</point>

• <point>You have excellent negotiation and communication skills in English, with French being a huge plus.</point>
