Manager – Technical Operations
Review customer requirements and plan and coordinate delivery activities. Build positive and productive working relationships with customers for business growth. Manage Global IT Operations deliverables and projects in an enterprise 24x7 application and infrastructure support. Oversee daily activities of delivery team and provide direction and guidance as needed. Perform resource allocations and workload assignments according to delivery requirements. Manage resource requirement and estimation for the Global Operations team. Ensure that team maintains high level of competence and operational excellence. Evaluate the performance of team members and determine training needs. Develop process improvements to achieve cost effectiveness and time savings. Make critical business decisions to meet customer expectations. Report delivery status to customers and develop required delivery documentation. Responsible for designing architecture and providing solutions as per client needs, and for sharing the insights for new engagements or innovations from technological perspective. Identify the process gaps and provide insights to leadership teams to redefine them. Propose and adapt new cutting-edge technological solutions to clients. Work with cross functional teams to execute service requests, implement change and resolve incidents. Perform hands on to apply resolutions, best practices and recommended settings for the application infrastructure, which includes network, monitoring, server administration, Azure Cloud resource administration, CDN (Akamai), and Power BI. Deploy and support virtualized data center, IaaC, PowerShell scripting, DSC, automation. Handle disaster recovery of mission critical applications.
REQUIRES: Master’s in Computer Science/Applications, Information Technology/Systems, Business Administration or Electronics/Electrical Engineering. (In lieu of degree, will accept completion of program requirements for Master’s degree.) 1 year experience as Manager - Technical Operations, IT Project Manager, IT Program Manager or related.
Must be willing to travel/relocate to anywhere in the US.
