Neogen is looking to hire an Accounts Receivable Coordinator who will be responsible for coordinating the invoicing, billing, accounting and collection or product sales for customer accounts. This will be an onsite role at our Headquarters in Lansing, MI.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare invoices for all credit customers once goods are shipped.
  • Participate in the month end close process of the accounts receivable module.  Duties may include balancing to the general ledger, running month end reports, and printing customer statements.
  • Monitor past due accounts and be proactive to collect them.
  • Assist the sales staff and management with account information as requested.
  • Prepare and enter credit memos into Solomon system.
  • Enter lockbox payments into Solomon and enter cash receipts in the cash receipts log.

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma with related accounting experience, preferably with emphasis on accounts receivable and collections.
