Position Summary...

The Pharmacy Assistant (Pharmacy Clinic) welcomes and connects patients with Pharmacy Clinic services, ensuring a positive patient experience and accessibility. Additionally, they support the clinic in technical and administrative duties to increase the Pharmacist's opportunity to provide patient care.

What you'll do...

Job Responsibilities

  • Facilitate an excellent patient experience for those accessing clinic services. Provide information on clinic services, screen for eligibility, book appointments, conduct intake and check-in of patients, update patient profiles, provide guidance on form completion, and help patients navigate the clinic.

  • Manage the online appointment scheduler and availability. Facilitate patient assignment to a medical room and pharmacist, and book follow-up appointments as needed. Perform computer functions as directed by the Pharmacist, including data entry, patient information entry/update, professional services billing, report generation, and patient profile checks. Operate the clinic phone line: answer non-medical questions, appointment bookings, follow-ups, reminder calls, etc.

  • Collaborate and work with the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist (Pharmacy Clinic) to optimize workflow and patient experience. Participate in company initiatives and programs.

The pay range for this position is $17.60 - $23.10/hr. Rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
