Job Summary:
The Senior Operations Planner is an experienced professional who applies comprehensive knowledge to own and manage the supply plan for a complex product line or factory area. This role is a key driver of the master production schedule, leading the analysis of capacity and materials to create an optimized plan. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the Senior Planner is a key interface between the master schedule and factory execution.

What You Will Do

  • Consolidate, Analyze, plan, initiate, and execute all activities related to Test Operations to ensure on-time delivery to meet customer expectations and support company goals and objectives.
  • Proactively identify capacity bottlenecks or areas of constraints that would delay deliveries for downstream production, and/or result in significant impact on MPS.
  • Work closely with Strategic Planning Team regarding materials availability and to ensure that the short-term and mid-team build plans to support Master Production Schedule (MPS)
  • Support Weekly and Monthly Supply Reviews at WC level to ensure that opportunities, risks, and escalations from Demand Review are addressed.
  • Support backlog alignment activity as needed (such as allocations or swaps required by Master Scheduling Team)

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering /Supply Chain Management or related field
  • 3-5 years of directly related experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Kinaxis Rapid Response etc.)
  • Experience with constraint planning tools (preferred)
  • Back-end capacity planning experience is preferred for pre-release and post-release products.
  • Experience in capacity planning, or material planning preferably in the semiconductor or hi-tech industry.
  • Strong data analytical skills and use of tools like analytics tools like Tableau, Power BI, etc.
  • Shows good leadership that will direct the team to be effective and efficient personnel.
  • Has the ability to train people to be effective in all areas.
  • Flexible and adaptable in all assigned tasks.
  • Must be good at oral and written communication.
  • With leadership qualities and able to work under pressure with less supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal & written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to efficiently multi-task, prioritize, and delegate.
  • Able to work independently and efficiently on multiple deliverables with competing priorities under timeline pressure.
  • Ability to collaborate with both internal and external customers.
  • Detail oriented and focused on data quality
