About the Role

Manage the backend team to achieve POS TAT and Benchmark under Control function as well as support recovery project, system gap fixes, suspense clearance & Post Claim transactions.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Take charge of Post Claim & Control teams critical metrics & service delivery.
  • Suspense management, ensuring all suspense within POS scope is cleared. Mentorship to the staffs in suspense clearance.
  • Provide support and constantly reviews by identifying the system gaps and processing issue in system. Raise UR & perform UAT. 
  • Perform full skill / cross skill training & hands on support to enable staff acquire full skills to cross support each other
  • Ensure reports & SOPs are reviewed & updated periodically to align with regulatory requirement, documentation / reports submission on time.
  • Ensure subordinates aware of new processes & procedures update.
  • Identify & implement process improvement to improve operation efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Tertiary education – Degree Holder in any field with 3 years or above work experience in the Insurance / Banking sector handling backend operations and downlines’ supervision.
  • Good interpersonal, communication skills and self-motivated.
  • Possess leadership & problem-solving skills.
  • High level of integrity and take ownership and accountability of results.
  • Solid understanding of transactional operations, governance, forecasting and metrics.
  • Possess good technical skills (MS Office Excel, Word etc.…).
  • Experience with operations, UAT, suspense management or Business Analyst will be an added advantage.
