What you will do:

  • Managing Fire projects ranging from medium to large & complex installation and retrofit projects 
  • Full ownership and accountability of performance (Budget and Schedule) of assigned projects
  • Manage and coordinate allocated projects to ensure they are delivered within scope, on time and on budget
  • Full ownership and accountability of financials (Revenue, Margin rate expansion, UBR and AR) & operational metrics by liaising with Country Finance team and Financial Controllers
  • Drive and monitor Fulfilment 5 (cost, cash, schedule, quality and EHS) cadence in team
  • Ensure, maintain and enhance a good and healthy relationship with Clients and all stakeholders
  • In collaboration with the Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Legal, Logistics, Sales & Commercial, Global Products teams, drives the operational & functional excellence with capabilities building to achieve business goals & targets.

How you will do it:

  • Drive project financial performance and reviews including Revenue, GM, Backlog, UBR, AR and VOs 
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans and track project performance, deliverables and costs to meet project milestones and budgets. 
  • Project Team leader to lead, coach, manage effectively with team members
  • Develop Cash flow planning & control
  • Develop and manage tiered processes from proposal through project turnover to optimize schedule, scope, and cost to maximize customer success and the company’s profitability
  • Direct projects Risk and Opportunity reviews / assess risk and opportunity management outcomes
  • Device activity and resource planning 
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risk and report/escalate to Management as needed with appropriate contingence resolution
  • Ensure projects operation financial KPIs are monitored and tracked
  • Champion continuous improvement efforts on project operation process, e.g., project closing process, transition process, urgent purchase process 
  • Responsible for overall contracting strategies and execution which includes tender & bid evaluations, site progress, budgeting, scheduling, and project completion according to the established timelines
  • Support in pre-sales scoping, deliverables and cost effectiveness with sales, procurement and control manager
  • Manage business and project risks, perform project controls including cost and schedule control, progress monitoring and evaluation
  • Knowledge of Fire code of practice, sprinkler & piping design, Fire alarm system
  • Knowledge of JC Tyco products
  • Review projects to determine the VO opportunities, set up annual VO plan to increase project revenue and earning
  • Provide resolution of escalated project management/ installation and service issues with customers and other stakeholders

What we look for:

  • University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Another advanced degree required, additional technical degree preferred 
  • Strong knowledge of Project Management with more than 10 years of relevant experience in Fire industry operations and maintenance 
  • Proven track record in delivering the strong results with strong accountability and say/do 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both internally and dealing with external customers and stakeholders
