Front End Manager

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of retail experience and strong knowledge of the front end processes. Candidate will be responsible for customer service, scheduling and cash office procedures.

Ability to commute/relocate:

Mitchell, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work(required).

What you'll do:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the front end.
  • Write the front end schedule weekly.
  • Manage the cash office (safe, paperwork, operations)
  • Maintain a clean and safe department for customers and employees
  • Be proactive in the recruitment cycle of the hourly workforce – job postings, interviews, and orientations
  • Lead, coach and motivate colleagues to improve productivity, engagement and retention
  • Building and leading diverse teams that foster a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging

What you bring:

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop associates
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with company systems would be an asset (swedamart, workday, persona, SAP)
  • People management experience and leadership skills would be an asset
