The Opportunity

Due to internal mobility, we currently have an opportunity for a Product Specialist to join our Surgical Team in Adelaide on a permanent full-time basis. Predominantly a field-based role, you are primarily responsible for promoting and selling products from J&J’s Surgical Stapling and Energy Sealing & Dissecting Devices portfolio.

This role will see you engage with Specialist Surgeons and key hospital decision makers, develop relationships and new business opportunities to increase market share and meet sales targets. You will also provide in-theatre clinical support and in-service training, ensuring maximum benefit and application of J&J’s suite of Surgical products.

About You

  • Degree qualified, preferably with 2-3 years hospital sales experience within surgical devices and experience working in an operating theatre environment
  • Passion for building strong effective relationships and driving commercial outcomes, and tenacity and enthusiasm with a true desire to understand and support customers
  • Strong collaborative nature to work as a team, and highly organised with the ability to function independently as a field-based representative
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, and the ability to travel domestically to the assigned territory
