The Accounts Payable Specialist position offers ample opportunity for growth in a remote setting.  

THIS POSITION IS OPEN TO OHIO RESIDENTS ONLY


A caregiver in this position works Days, from 8:00am—4:30pm. 


A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Process full cycle Accounts Payable with timely and accurate handling of high-volume invoices and payment requests along with auditing appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.  

  • Review and prepare invoices and check requests for processing via an online system.  

  • Facilitate the match of invoices to online purchase orders via an online matching system.  

  • Coordinate and resolve exception invoices between AP, the requesting department, supplier and supply change management personnel.  

  • Work with supplier accounts receivable contacts on statement review to resolve unpaid exception invoices and obtain credits.  

  • Perform verification and exception routing in an automated smart-capture system.  


Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • High school diploma or GED. 

  • 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or similar OR an associate’s degree in finance. 


Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.  

  • Knowledgeable on using different communication platforms.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information. 

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.  

  • Ability to work with physical records or operate a computer or other office equipment.  

  • In some locations, ability to travel throughout the hospital system.  

  • In some locations ability to move up to 25 lbs.
