Description:
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Business Development team at Marsh Risk Singapore. This role will be based in Singapore. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The successful candidate will act as an individual contributor to sales in addition to assisting senior colleagues in sales meetings and presentations, gaining valuable insights into market best practices while contributing to market research, client appraisals, and sales support activities.
We will count on you to:
- Attend and assist with sales meetings and presentations led by senior colleagues for various accounts, gaining exposure to market best practices.
- Support the sales team in identifying and qualifying new business opportunities.
- Assist in preparing sales proposals, presentations, and client communications to effectively convey value propositions.
- Participate in client engagement activities to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Monitor sales pipelines and contribute to forecasting and reporting activities.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with market demands.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of our business service offerings and products to apply in market research and client evaluations.
- Collaborate with senior colleagues on routine aspects of the deal process across different industries or regions to gain practical knowledge and experience.
- Conduct research on market trends and existing business to analyze opportunities and identify additional client or market needs.
- Draft due diligence reports and presentations under close supervision, including qualitative and quantitative market findings and basic financial analyses.
- Present findings related to product work or market research to senior colleagues for use in sales efforts.

- Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize information effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to present findings clearly to senior colleagues.
