Our Corporate Accounting team is seeking a Director, Technical Accounting to lead technical accounting reviews of complex transactions, maintain the Company’s accounting policies, and assist in implementing new accounting standards. This position will serve as an internal consultant on accounting matters with various functions across the Company. This position will also assist in the preparation of the Company’s quarterly and annual financial filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The selected candidate should have a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, an ability to research complex technical accounting topics, and should be able to work independently and follow up on action items.
This position operates within a hybrid work model, requiring employees to be present in the Reston, VA office three (3) days per week. The remaining two days may be worked remotely, allowing for a balance between in-person collaboration and independent work from home. On-site days are crucial for team meetings, client interactions, and fostering a cohesive work culture. Remote days offer flexibility and the opportunity for focused work without interruptions. Candidates should be comfortable with this arrangement and possess the ability to maintain high productivity and communication standards in both office and remote settings. The specific in-office days will be determined based on team needs and company-wide coordination.
