Flow Traders is looking for a Valuations Specialist with a focus on Digital Assets to join our Operations and Control team in our Amsterdam office. In this role, you will ensure complete and accurate administration, valuation and reporting of the Venture Capital and Token Investments Portfolio. Additionally, you will be responsible for development and maintenance of financial models, forecasts and is closely involved in performance of financial due diligence of investments.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts for both portfolio companies and new investments, including valuation analysis, profitability and expense analysis
• Support the monthly closing and quarterly valuation processes of the portfolios, including data gathering, financial modeling, valuation analyses, and portfolio updates
• Ensure a complete and accurate administration of all token investments and the VC portfolio
• Perform financial due diligence on strategic investments
• Develop and maintain comprehensive financial reporting systems to monitor portfolio key performance indicators
• Support in monthly financial closings and audit requests covering strategic capital and Digital Assets
• Resolve control-related requests from internal stakeholders such as Finance, Risk, Tax, and Legal

 

What you need to succeed

• Master's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field
• Experience working with financial modeling and valuation methods, preferably within the financial services, fintech, trading, or investment banking industries
• Excellent understanding of financial statements and financial analysis techniques
• Understanding of the trading industry, market dynamics, and the regulatory environment; Affinity with Digital Assets is a strong plus
• Strong background in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, VBA, SQL, Python), budgeting, and forecasting
• RA/RC/CPA/CFA is a strong plus
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively
• Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
