If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Heating Engineer to join our repairs and maintenance division in Coatbridge.

About the Role:

The primary role of a Commercial Heating Engineer will be testing all equipment and appliances within our council properties to ensure they function and meet all safety standards as well as recognise and assess any risks that occur.

The successful candidate will be required to install and commission pipework systems and gas appliances along with repairing or replacing other plants. For example, pumps, pipe work, tanks, and motorised valves.  All Heating Engineers interact directly with customers on a day-to-day basis.

Role Criteria:

  • Qualified to City and Guilds/ SVQ Level 3 Gas Service Engineer standard.
  • Hold appropriate Commercial ACS certification.
  • Hold a welding qualification.
  • Good understanding of current legislation, building control requirements and governing body requirements
  • Previous commercial gas experience is essential.
  • Full UK driving license
