Job Description

OES Equipment, part of the DPR Family of Companies, is a fast-paced supply and rental equipment company in the construction industry. We are seeking a motivated Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Accounts Payable team in Dallas (Richland Hills), TX. The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for providing financial and administrative services in an effective and efficient manner to ensure timely and accurate payment as well as reporting for job costing and general ledger. Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to the following:  

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Ensure timely payments of invoices to ensure the maintenance of accurate records and reporting. 

  • All Accounts Payable functions including receipt of invoices, approvals, coding, scanning, and maintaining statements. 

  • Reconciling PO receivers. 

  • Reviewing and reconciling customer statements and accounts. 

  • Maintaining internal and external relationships with vendors and employees including solving issues and discrepancies. 

  • Creating and maintaining vendor and employee master files. 

  • Maintaining document management and migrating. 

  • Completing special projects as needed. 

  • Proactive process improvement. 

Required Skills and Abilities 

  • Ability to process 1,500 invoices monthly. 

  • Strong attention to detail and well organized. 

  • Excellent listening and communication skills. 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate to advanced Excel skills. 

  • Positive interpersonal skills with a “can-do” attitude. 

  • Ability to work in both a team environment and independently. 

Education and Experience  

  • 1-2 years of successful Accounts Payable experience. 

  • 1-2 years in the construction equipment or supplies industry a plus. 

  • Experience with RentalMan (Wynne Software) preferred. 

Physical Requirements  

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
