NVIDIA is looking for an excellent Software Manager to develop and maintain networking performance analysis tools and benchmarks. You will have a significant impact on the company's performance methodologies tool set and public facing benchmark results. The internal and external tools are used for optimizing and profiling our advanced networking technologies, Infiniband and Spectrum-X, which are the core for our scale out AI factories. In this role you will use our SuperNICs, DPUs, GPUs and CPUs and get access to the architecture details for deep profiling and analysis.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop and maintain performance benchmarks and analysis tools for internal and external use

  • Collaborate with teams from various departments to determine performance analysis requirements and ensure that benchmarks and tools are aligned with our product goals.

  • Identify areas for improvement in performance analysis methodologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance efficiency.

  • Lead a team of engineers who demonstrate exceptional technical skills, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful implementation of the tools

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements, incorporating them into our benchmarking and profiling practices.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years of team lead/management experience including agile SW development methodologies

  • 7+ years’ experience of Programming C/C++ and Python

  • 5+ years’ experience in Linux environment and tools

  • Solid understanding of software architecture and performance optimization techniques.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

  • Ambitious and self-motivated, with a strong desire to continuously learn and improve.

Ways to stand out from the crowd

  • Proficient in RDMA and CUDA programming

  • Skilled in using standard performance profiling tools such as perf, pcm, and nsys

  • Knowledgeable in CPU architecture
