Position Overview


We are seeking a highly motivated and resilient Account Executive to drive sales in the growing Construction Technology sector. As an Autodesk Construction Cloud Account Executive based in Hong Kong, you will represent Autodesk's construction solutions in a dynamic industry, engaging with key stakeholders to transform project management through digital solutions. The ideal candidate should possess leadership qualities, think outside the box, and understand the local construction market. Your primary role will be to sell Autodesk’s construction software, develop long-term customer relationships, and drive adoption throughout your territory.

The Autodesk Construction Solutions portfolio connects design teams with project and site stakeholders on a unified platform, reducing data silos and improving collaboration across the building lifecycle—from design and preconstruction to construction, turnover, and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage key accounts through the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying leads to negotiating contracts and closing deals
  • Develop and maintain relationships with decision-makers, understanding their business needs to drive Autodesk Construction Cloud adoption
  • Identify new potential clients and cultivate relationships, positioning Autodesk as a leader in the digital transformation of construction
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value of Autodesk's construction solutions
  • Collaborate with technical teams to provide customized demonstrations and implementation guidance
  • Partner with customer champions and senior management to establish project plans for software adoption, focusing on post-sales support provided through Autodesk Construction Cloud-certified partners
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention, working closely with the Customer Success Team
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies
  • Engage with Autodesk's broader sales team to meet and exceed sales targets and business objectives
  • Position Autodesk Construction Cloud solutions effectively with industry associations and government bodies
  • Collaborate with the renewals team to maintain and expand existing accounts
  • Deliver accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts
  • Demonstrate resilience in overcoming market challenges and leadership qualities by guiding other team members
     

Minimum Qualifications

  • Based in Hong Kong, with a deep understanding of the local construction market
  • Proven track record of success in SaaS sales, preferably within the construction or technology industries
  • High proficiency in spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin for effective communication
  • Ability to think outside the box and demonstrate resilience in overcoming challenges
  • Strong leadership qualities, including mentoring and supporting other team members
  • Exceptional relationship management skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Understanding of Autodesk Construction Cloud products, construction technology, and market trends
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong organizational abilities, able to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously
  • Adaptable to evolving market conditions, eager to learn and adopt new technologies
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and customer-focused, with a dedication to exceeding expectations
