Your Impactful Responsibilities:
Be the Technical Authority: Master the Avigilon Alta and Avigilon Unity hardware and software solutions, serving as the go-to product expert for internal teams, partners, and customers.
Drive Sales Success: Partner closely with Sales Teams to provide compelling technical resources for end-user webinars, presentations, and product showcases to the VS&A partner channel, ultimately helping to close deals.
Win Business: Lead the technical response for RFPs, develop robust system designs, create specifications, and generate accurate quotes that align with both technical requirements and customer budgets.
Prove the Value: Design and support Proof of Concept deployments, including remote and onsite commissioning, to demonstrate the tangible benefits of our solutions.
Educate and Empower: Deliver high-quality, thorough certification training to field sales, pre-sales, consultants, and partners, ensuring they are equipped to represent our technology effectively (travel required).
Cultivate Relationships: Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with Sales Teams, consultants, partners, and key end-users.
Solve the Complex: Collaborate with product support and engineering to troubleshoot and resolve complex customer issues, managing pre-sales field escalations to deliver complete solutions.
Represent the Brand: Support tradeshows, roadshows, and field events by organizing logistics, conducting pre-setup of systems, and attending onsite (international travel may be required).

Work Environment: Hybrid workplace with flexibility for in-office and remote base locations.
Travel: This role requires significant travel, up to 60% of the annual working schedule, often involving international travel.

Who You Are (Qualifications):
Experienced Professional: You bring 3+ years of experience in a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineering or equivalent role within a technology company.
Security Domain Knowledge: You possess a strong understanding of the access control and video surveillance markets and their evolving solutions, preferably with cloud-hosted technologies.
Technically Acute: You have advanced knowledge of networking principles, firewall communications, and experience with computer hardware and network configuration and troubleshooting.
Results-Oriented: You are a self-motivated, focused individual with a passion for technology and a commitment to exceptional customer satisfaction.
Collaborative Communicator: You are capable of working as a high-performing individual contributor within a global team, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills in English and excellent in-person and remote presentation abilities.
Required: A valid Driving License.
Preferred Experience & Skills (The Edge):
University degree or diploma in a technology-related field.
Prior experience and certifications in the security industry, particularly with enterprise and/or cloud-hosted video and access control solutions.
Understanding of Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and subscription based software offerings (SaaS).
Relevant product certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, AWS, Google).
Fluency in additional languages beyond English are a plus.
