We are seeking a highly organized, proactive Project Coordinator to support key executives of a growing insurance MGA. This hybrid role blends traditional executive administrative support with hands-on project coordination, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both high-level executive interaction and operational execution.JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management & Coordination
• Track and coordinate internal projects across departments (e.g., operations, underwriting, compliance, IT)
• Monitor timelines, deliverables, and dependencies; follow up to ensure deadlines are met
• Maintain project documentation, task lists, and status reports
• Assist executives in prioritizing initiatives and organizing workflows
• Support implementation of new processes, tools, or initiatives as assigned
• Prepare agendas, meeting materials, and follow-up action items
• Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
• Serve as a key point of contact between executives and internal/external stakeholders.
• Assist with correspondence, reports, presentations, and document management
• Coordinate board meetings, leadership meetings, and executive communications
BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE)
Production Underwriter: Bachelor’s Degree or 2+ years of commercial underwriting experience or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge of underwriting philosophy, processes, and practice
Extensive experience in the insurance industry ideally within an underwriting, broking, relationship management or sales role
Strong analytical skills and critical thinking skills with great attention to details
Individually accountable
Effective relationship management skills with customer focused approach
Ability to develop tactical underwriting plan and execute on its implementation
Ability to work independently for significant periods of time
Strong business development and communication skills
Property & Casualty Agent’s license in residing state, or willingness to obtain
